I would be curious to see just how much force is transmitted laterally through the hood to the adjacent body panels. I don't think it's quite as significant as you make it out to be. Unless one of us produces some empirical evidence, we're just talking out of our asses here. BTW, what is your profession? Also- this is all in good fun and strictly for discussion's sake, don't think I'm trashing you here or anything.
