Message I wasn't arguing that. Just not cost-effective (unless the vents were simple holes cut in a stock hood).

I would be curious to see just how much force is transmitted laterally through the hood to the adjacent body panels. I don't think it's quite as significant as you make it out to be. Unless one of us produces some empirical evidence, we're just talking out of our asses here.

BTW, what is your profession?
